Brisbane Airshow - Somerset Valleys Wine Trail

Somerset Valleys Wine Trail

Wine lovers, prepare to charge your glasses as you set forth on Somerset’s wine trail. Six cellar doors scattered through the valley each spruik their own expertly pressed offering. The first wine grapes were planted in the Somerset region in the 1800s by European settlers.

There’s seven main stops along the way plus one olive grove, so choose to make a day or a weekend of it. To help you find your way, we've done the hard yards and made a map for you to follow.

Winya Wines
Up in the hills, Angus cattle roam at Winya Wines. There are barbecue facilities onsite to cook up your own Black Angus rib fillet barbecue lunch. Finish off the experience with a tasting of all eight wines at Winya’s cellar door. Before you move along, pick up a bottle of shiraz and some prime Angus steaks to take home.
