BRISBANE AIRSHOW
CAMPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL
1. Camp Site Entry Conditions attached at Annex A form part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions attached at Annex B form part of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Information on how to apply to Camp at Brisbane Airshow events forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Entry to a Brisbane Airshow event by a Camper is deemed to be an acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions detailed herein, or as otherwise published for time to time.
5. Should a Camper not comply with any of the Terms and Conditions, they may be prohibited from camping at this Brisbane Airshow event or any future Brisbane Airshow event, at the sole discretion of the Brisbane Airshow Organisers.
6. Acceptance of Campers to a Brisbane Airshow event is at the absolute discretion of the Brisbane Airshow Organisers.
7. Campers must operate their vehicles, camper vans, and trailers lawfully, safely, and in accordance with all applicable laws, and with proper courtesy to all other Campers and members of the public.
8. Campers under the age of 16 must supervised at all times by an adult parent, adult guardian, or adult ‘blue card’ holder nominated as their guardian.
9. Camper van drivers must hold a valid Australian drivers licence to drive a vehicle, van or trailer on or within lands or areas utilised for Brisbane Airshow events.
10. Each Camper is responsible to maintain their own insurances with respect to their health care, vehicle, camper van, camping trailer, and any camping equipment.
11. Campers must abide by the decisions of the Brisbane Airshow Assistants, Brisbane Airshow Organisers, Brisbane Airshow Director or their delegate.
12. The Brisbane Airshow Organisers or their delegate may withhold any Camper from camping at a Brisbane Airshow event at any time, and at their sole discretion.
13. The Brisbane Airshow Director or his /her delegate may close the camp site at any time and at their sole discretion.
14. The purchase of Camping Tickets is deemed to be an acknowledgment and acceptance of these Camping Terms and Conditions.
15. No refunds of the Camping Fee will be given under any circumstances (including, without limitation: if at any point after a Camper has entered the Brisbane Airshow event, the Camper is unable to camp; or if a Camper is barred from Camping for any reasons that he or she has not complied with these Terms and Conditions.
16. Camping Fees are non-transferrable.
17. Campers may not bring any animals (including dogs) with them to Brisbane Airshow events. A Camper bringing an animal to a Brisbane Airshow event will be barred from camping in the event.
18. Campers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of each State and Territory at which a Brisbane Airshow event is held, including without limitation, all laws relating to the operation and maintenance of their vehicles.
19. Campers may not be in the possession of or use prohibited substances.
20. Campers must not during the course of a Brisbane Airshow event drive under the influence of alcohol, prohibited drugs or substances, or any other intoxicating substances.
21. Campers must not drive or operate machinery at a Brisbane Airshow event if their ability to do so safely and properly is in any way compromised by illness, lack of adequate rest, or any other condition.
22. Each Camper is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with camping at a Brisbane Airshow event.
23. Each Camper is responsible for all repairs, maintenance and operating costs associated with their aircraft.
CAMPING TICKETS/ APPLICATION
24. To camp at a Brisbane Airshow events, campers must :
24.1. Agree to and abide by these terms and conditions,
24.2. Complete a Camping Form, either at the gate or on-line, and
24.3. Pay a Camping Fee.
MISCELLANEOUS
25. The Brisbane Airshow Organisers reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions in their absolute discretion. Campers shall be deemed to have accepted any modified Terms and Conditions by camping at a Brisbane Airshow event.
26. If any act or omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, and which prevents the Brisbane Airshow Organisers from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations, and the Brisbane Airshow Organisers reserve the right (subject to any applicable law) to at any time cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a Brisbane Airshow events.
27. Each Camper authorizes Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, the Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, and the Production Crew to:
27.1. use their name, voice, image, likeness, acts and statements in any media, before, during or after the Brisbane Airshow for advertising, public relations and publicity purposes in perpetuity without compensation; and
27.2. reproduce, sell, copyright, exhibit, broadcast and / or distribute any footage described in clause 27.1in any media.
28. Any photography, sound recordings or video footage created by Campers during a Brisbane Airshow event may only be used by the Campers for personal purposes. Campers may not reproduce, sell, copyright, exhibit, broadcast and / or distribute any of their own photography, sound recordings or video footage for commercial purposes.
29. The Brisbane Airshow Organisers require each Camper’s personal information in order to conduct Brisbane Airshow events. If a Camper does not provide the mandatory personal information requested, then the Camper will not be able to camp at a Brisbane Airshow event. By camping at a Brisbane Airshow event, each Camper is taken to give consent to the Brisbane Airshow Organisers to use the Camper’s personal information to administer a Brisbane Airshow event and disclosing the Camper’s personal information to organisations that assist the Brisbane Airshow Organisers with administering a Brisbane Airshow event, and to third parties as required by law.
30. The Brisbane Airshow Organisers are bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by camping at a Brisbane Airshow event, each Camper is taken to consent to the Brisbane Airshow Organisers’ privacy policy (Privacy Policy). By camping at a Brisbane Airshow event, each Camper also consents to the Brisbane Airshow Organisers using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the Camper. A Camper may access and correct any personal information held by the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, upon request to the Brisbane Airshow Organisers.
31. No provision of these Terms and Conditions, or the Privacy Policy, may be construed to the disadvantage of Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, the Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistants, and any Sponsors merely because the Brisbane Airshow Organisers prepared them.
32. The contract between each Camper and the Brisbane Airshow Organisers (including these Terms and Conditions), are each governed by the law in force in Queensland, Australia.
33. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each Camper agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, the Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistances, and any Sponsors from and against any loss, cost, expense, liability or damage suffered or incurred by any of the Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, the Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistants, and any Sponsors, other Campers or any other person:
33.1. in respect of any claim, demand, cause of action, prosecution or proceeding arising directly or indirectly from any act, event, occurrence or omission of that Camper occurring during or in any way in connection with a Brisbane Airshow event ; or
33.2. as a result of any damage, injury or death to, or caused or contributed to by, the Camper during a Brisbane Airshow event.
34. To the fullest extent permitted by law, none of the Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistants, and any Sponsors will be liable for:
34.1. any loss or damage whatsoever suffered or incurred by a Camper resulting from or incidental to camping at a Brisbane Airshow event, whether direct, indirect or consequential, and including (without limitation) loss of income, loss of profits, loss of bargain, and medical, legal, travel, insurance or mechanical costs or expenses, or
34.2. any personal injury or death suffered or sustained by a Camper camping at the Brisbane Airshow, howsoever arising, including but not limited to by reason of any of the Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistances, and any Sponsors negligence, breach of contract, or breach of statutory or other legal duty except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, and each Camper releases Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd, Brisbane Airshow, Brisbane Airshow Director, the Brisbane Airshow Organisers, the Brisbane Airshow Assistances, and any Sponsors from any such liability.

ANNEX A - CAMPSITE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
CAMPSITE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The Camp Site Fee as advertised from time to time per site or per person is payable.
3. Camp sites cannot be pre-booked. Site allocation is on a “first in first served” basis.
4. Toilets with night-time lighting are provided.
5. Limited shower facilities are available.
6. Cooking facilities are not provided.
7. Campers should use torch lighting when walking around at night.
8. Children should be supervised at all times.
9. Open fires on the ground are not permitted. Small fires in approved metal fire pits are permitted and all fuel must be provided by the camper. Total fire ban rules must be obeyed.
10. Private portable generators are not permitted between the hours of 8.00pm and 5.00am.
11. Aircraft pilots and passengers wishing to camp overnight must use the allocated camping area and pay the camping site fee.
12. Camping tickets should be tied to the tent, camper vehicle, or aircraft and be clearly displayed.
13. Loud and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and please respect the privacy of fellow campers.
14. No liquids or effluent may be discharged within or on the Brisbane Airshow event grounds.
15. Campers are to place all personal rubbish into the large waste bins provided.
16. Campers are to observe all reasonable directions given them by the Brisbane Airshow Organisers.
BRISBANE AIRSHOW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ANNEX B - DEFINITIONS
DEFINITIONS
1. AA or Australian Airdisplays or Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd means Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd atf the GNJ Airshows Unit Trust (ABN 73 164 102 146) t/a Brisbane Airshow Airshows.
2. Campers means all persons and equipment entering the Brisbane Airshow event for the purpose of camping.
3. Production Crew means photographers and videographers as nominated by the Brisbane Airshow Organisersfrom time to time.
4. Brisbane Airshow means the Registered Business name of Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd atf the GNJ Airshows Unit Trust (ABN 73 164 102 146).
5. Brisbane Airshow or Brisbane Airshow means the aviation event commencing 8am on the Friday and ending at 5pm on the Monday, as generally described within these Terms and Conditions.
6. Red Thunder or Red Thunder Airshow means the Registered Business name of Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd conducting a Red Thunder event, the Red Thunder Airshow or Brisbane Airshow events.
7. Red Thunder or Red Thunder Airshow means the event commencing 8am on the Friday and ending at 5pm on the Monday, as generally described within these Terms and Conditions.
8. Brisbane Airshow Assistants means all persons engaged (whether voluntarily or otherwise) or employed by the Brisbane Airshow Organisers in the planning, organisation and / or conduct of the Brisbane Airshow event, including but not limited to; the Air Boss, the Programmer, the Authorising Officers, Gill Vardi, James Crockett, and Richard Waugh.
9. Brisbane Airshow Organisers means Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd atf the GNJ Airshows Unit Trust (ABN 73 164 102 146) and the Brisbane Airshow Director.
10. Brisbane Airshow Director means James Crockett or Gill Vardi, or other person as appointed by Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd.
11. Sponsors means all sponsors of the Brisbane Airshow event as nominated by the Brisbane Airshow Organisers from time to time.
